How to Calculate CBM for Shipping
Convert packed dimensions to meters, multiply the three axes, then multiply by quantity.
CBM formula
For centimeter inputs, divide each side by 100 before multiplying. You can also divide the cubic-centimeter result by 1,000,000.
FORMULA
CBM = L(m) × W(m) × H(m) × Quantity
Example
- •Carton: 60 × 40 × 35 cm.
- •Meters: 0.60 × 0.40 × 0.35.
- •Per carton: 0.084 CBM.
- •Ten cartons: 0.84 CBM.
