How is dimensional weight calculated for shipping?
Multiply package Length × Width × Height (in inches) and divide by the carrier divisor (139 for UPS/FedEx commercial rates, or 166 for USPS). If dimensional weight exceeds scale weight, carriers bill based on dimensional weight.
What is billable weight?
Billable weight is whichever is greater between actual scale weight and calculated dimensional weight. Couriers always invoice shipments based on billable weight.
How do you calculate CBM (Cubic Meters) for freight?
Multiply Length × Width × Height in meters (m × m × m). For measurements in centimeters, multiply (Length × Width × Height) and divide by 1,000,000.
