Worked example

USPS threshold and new divisor

  1. 1.20 × 14 × 10 = 2,800 in³, above 1 ft³
  2. 2.2,800 ÷ 139 = 20.14 lb
  3. 3.Round up: 21 lb DIM weight

Before July 12, 2026, divisor 166 would have produced 17 lb after rounding; the updated divisor produces 21 lb.
