Pallet Load Calculator

Use the pallet load calculator when both cube and weight matter. A max shipment weight can reduce HI before the height limit is reached.

FORMULA
Cases per pallet = TI (cases per layer) × HI (layers)

The engine compares normal, rotated, and simple mixed carton orientations.

How this calculation works

A weight-limited result is flagged separately from a height-limited result. ParcelCal runs the calculation in your browser; no package or shipment information is uploaded.

FORMULA
Allowed HI = Lower of height-limited layers and weight-limited layers

A weight-limited result is flagged separately from a height-limited result.

Worked example

When weight limits the stack

  1. 1.TI: 10 cases per layer
  2. 2.Each case: 30 lb
  3. 3.1,500 lb max less 50 lb pallet = 1,450 lb product capacity

Only 4 full layers (40 cases / 1,250 lb total) fit within the weight limit.
